Rides and Events

Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!

April Bike Rides & Events

Spring Roll

Spring is here so let's ride bikes before the heat of the summer hits! Meeting at Smoke at donuts at 9 am. We will be riding about a 10 mile loop around Down Town Orlando using the paved trails and neighborhood roads at a casual pace. All bikes are welcome! Helmets are required.

KBS Urban Assault: Every First Tuesday of the Month

Join us for this month's Tuesday night Urban assault. All bikes welcome, with many stops at cool places to session. Helmets and lights are a must!

CF Training Ride 20/30

We are getting the band back together to ride CF 4 Life charity ride. The Event itself, is Nov 10 2024. And will be offering 24, 37, 60, and 100 mile options. Link is posted below.

To get ready for the larger mile options we will ride one Sunday of every month. Meeting up at the Panera Bread at the Fashion Square Mall. We will also have two ride options, a 20 mile and a 30 mile. Both will ride together for a short time.

Ride expectations. We will be riding on the Cady Way Trail for the first 7-8 ish miles. 30 milers will turn to head to the neighborhood that takes us to Eagles Circle in Casselberry. 20 milers will continue 2 more miles on the trail before turning around. Pace while on the paved trail we will be rolling around 15. Once on the road we will pick up the pace to between 16-20. Depending on the group, elevation changes, wind directions.

KBS Ride to Critical Mass

We are closing the store an hour early to ride from the shop to the Critical Mass start. We usually only do the one lap and stop in the Milk District for some post ride beverages and snacks. Don't have a bike? No problem! We have a fleet of 6 green cruisers. Limited availability. Make sure you reserve yours soon!

April Orlando Critical Mass!

Orlando Critical Mass is Orlando's largest monthly bicycle ride which takes place EVERY LAST FRIDAY

All skill levels welcome, no gasoline powered transportation. Bring lights and helmet if you got them.

In-Store Clinics and Workshops

In-Store Clinics and Workshop
We're pleased to provide this great hands-on program for learning bicycle maintenance and repair. We've developed our class around a curriculum designed by the Park Tool Company, the world's largest bicycle-tool manufacturer.
