Comments:
Believe me when I say that the Kona Dew Plus is an amazing bike. I use it for literally drive it as often as I can. Driving a car in the city is stupid. I seriously love the bike and recommend it to anyone. It handles very well. I bought the all black Kona Dew Plus. It doesn't stand out as a mountain bike with "flashy" colors and it isn't bland in the slightest. Everything from the logo to the design of the bike was done right. I have tried many bikes and you get what you pay for. I've rode <$200 bikes and if you go up the hill typically over time the chain skips or ends up hopping gears. Spend the money. The bike will be great to you. Kona for life.

Comments:
I bought this in spring of 2010, it was Zen's first sale. I had done my research to find a few bikes that would suit my needs. [...]I knew I had to buy from Zen. The bike was the perfect choice for me to get back on a bike (had been 9 years since my last one) and get in shape. It is strong and comfortable, the brakes are extremely powerful and absoutely necessary here in NYC. They have saved me and some wayward pedestrians in Central Park several times. Rain or shine, they always stop. As I have begun riding more often, almost everyday, it has become clear that the next step is a proper carbon frame road bike. I am however going to keep my Kona Dew Plus for more casual riding and bad weather.

I did some research before buying a bike for my needs, being overweight and not cycling for over 10 years,I had a older bike the was unco to ride, The guys at the shop advised me on size strength, etc, Well I'm happy to say I love this bike, it's smooth in the gears responsive a pure pleasure to ride, in fact I'm now riding from 30-40km a week ! and hooked on cycling and have joined up with the ramblers !

Comments:
I bought the Dew Plus about six months ago to commute to work but also wanted something decent enough to take on a long ride over the weekend. So far I haven't been disappointed. This bike rides great. The gearing is perfect for climbing the steepest of hills and also just right for cruising along the flat. I've put on about 6oo miles on this bike and have no complaints at all.
