Details
Bianchi believes that women should ride the best performing bicycle they can buy. Italian design is at the root of all the Dama Bianca bicycles; stylish, functional, and first in class racing pedigree for the Dama market. Unique, individual, small batch production frames which state the rider wants to enjoy miles on a bicycle with the deepest rooted history in cycling.
With a decade of R&D behind Bianchi's Extreme Racing line of bikes, the Intenso marks a new generation of all day riding performance for women cyclists. Dama Bianca riders know they'll be comfortable and fast on their Bianchi bicycle.
The Dama Bianca Intenso is a monocoque carbon fiber endurance road bike that yearns for any road surface you can throw at it. With 28c tire clearance, internal cable routing and K-VID technology in the fork and seat stays, you’ll enjoy a winery tour, a metric century, or training for your first sprint triathlon. A full carbon fork and tapered steer tube keep the steering reactive and stable as you carve up the high speed descents on your next club ride. Riding on a wheel base longer than their Extreme Racing series of bikes and with a slightly slack head tube angle, the Dama Bianca Intenso offers the rider stability when the road gets rough and the crosswinds rip across the farm fields during your mid-November rides. Shimano's electronic Ultegra Di2 drivetrain gives you perfect shift after perfect shift and makes easy work of the climbs while the lightweight Fulcrum Racing 5 wheelset wrapped in durable Vittoria tires rolls smoothly through the miles. Reparto Corse components and Selle San Marco saddle beautifully complete this Dama.
Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are some benefits of electronic shifting that you don't want to miss.
Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servo motors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with surgical precision and without chain rub.
Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
Dependability
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you'll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
