650B

$2,550.00
What It Is The G27 is the G23's little big brother. Smaller in diameter and lighter in weight, the G27 is designed for the higher-volume tires demanded by many riders on rougher and looser terrain. At 320 grams, our lightest tubeless rim is 27mm wide and designed for tires marked 27.5 or 650B. Armed against pinch flats with the patent-pending Wide Hookless Bead, the G27 is at home off-road and capable on tamer stretches of singletrack. Who It's For Those seeking the challenge of drop-bar riding over more technical terrain that is typically frequented by mountain bikes will benefit from the additional air volume, durability, and anti-flat performance benefits provided by the G27. If your path leads you to rough roads, single tracks, and multi-day bikepacking adventures, the G27 may be for you. Why We Made It There is a place between road and mountain that is open to discovery. Beyond the range of your trail bike or the capabilities of your road bike. Terrain littered with contradicting challenges and demanding requirements are at odds with the bikes and products available today. We built the new G27 to thrive in this new environment because insights gained through building the world's best road and mountain bike rims told us that the perfect combination did not exist in our stable, or in our opinion, anywhere at all. The higher volume and lower pressures would demand MTB toughness and flat resistance, while big days and long miles would require the light weight and efficiency of a road machine. Above all, the combination of rough and rigid would require a wheel with the ride quality to make those long miles enjoyable and multi-day treks possible.

What It Is The definitive mountain wheel. The M6 Series defines the modern and varied interpretation of the mountain bike. Loaded with traction and acceleration on the climb, it's also backed with precision and control while absorbing vibrations and impacts on the descent. The M6 Series is designed in two diameters and three widths to ensure your sophisticated preference for tire size and pressure is met with an uncompromising tire-to-rim interface. Who It's For The mountain biker who wonders what is possible, the skeptic afraid of "plastic" wheels, the weight weenie, the Clydesdale, the high-mileage guy, the weekend warrior. It would be easier to describe who it is not for… Why We Made It ENVE showed the world that a mountain bike wheel could be carbon — we're still immensely proud of that achievement. A mountain bike wheel, however, can be so much more. The M6 Series is not about technical challenges, and we refuse to chase specifications in order to be the widest, tallest, or stiffest. For the M6 Series of wheels, the question was not about carbon, rather, "What is the potential of a mountain bike wheel?" Each M6 Series wheel model is designed for the broad range of tire widths, hub configurations, and sizes so that you, the modern trail rider, can choose between them.

DESIGNED FOR HIGH VOLUME TIRES AND ADVENTUROUS RIDING Jocassee is a heritage preserve in the Northwest corner of South Carolina. Containing over 100 miles of gravel roads, Jocassee is a favorite of cyclists looking for a very difficult gravel ride. Founder, Boyd Johnson, started riding in Jocassee on a road bike with 25mm tires in the early 2010s (not highly recommended at all!). Over time gravel started to emerge as a discipline, people migrated to cyclocross bikes, followed by gravel specific bikes. When Boyd Cycling introduced the Jocassee as a 650b gravel wheelset in 2017, it was in a very unique position. 650b for gravel was in its infancy. Most people were running 32 to 35mm tires for gravel rides. Fast forward a few short years later and almost all gravel bikes have the ability to run both 700c and 650b tire sizes. While 700c remains the overwhelming favorite, the ability to have a dual purpose bicycle is a large attraction for people buying a new gravel bike. Throw in our Quest centerlock hubs, Pillar Wing 20 spokes, external nipples and you have the ideal gravel wheel set, built to withstand your hardest rides on your most adventurous weekends! For those of us looking for larger tires (36mm+), the new Jocassee gives a wide rim platform for modern gravel tires. Boasting a 26mm internal width, the updated Jocassee goes to a shallower and lighter 25mm depth. This allows the rim weight to go from 460 grams per rim down to 338 grams in a 650b and 353 grams in a 700c.
$925.00
With a modern internal width of 26mm, this hookless rim mates perfectly with fast rolling cross-country tires ranging from 2.1” to 2.4” and gravel tires from 32mm and up. At the center of the wheel are the Quest Disc MTB hubs (120 grams for the front and 245 grams for the rear) with their super quick five-degree engagement, tool free service and centerlock spline for disc brake rotors. Pillar Wing 20 J-Bend spokes and alloy nipples are laced double-cross with 24 spoke front and 28 spoke rear. The ultra-light, yet durable, 370-gram rim (370 gram/29er; 340 gram/27.5) measures 26mm internal, featuring a 2.8mm offset rim bed for better tension balance and a more responsive wheel build. These specs total up to a 1380-gram (1380 gram/29er, 1330 gram/27.5) wheelset that has a modern day wider rim design and can handle the rigors of cross country mountain bike riding. For more extreme terrain, the 30mm Ridgeline Enduro wheels are a perfect pick.

Zipp's 3ZERO MOTO carbon 27.5 and 29 enduro/trail wheelset is inspired by moto to provide riders with the control and durability required for pure trail speed. Already this wheelset and its MOTO Technology are proven with multiple victories in the Enduro World Series with our pioneering partnership with Lapierre Zipp Collective. While other wheel brands limit their focus to traditional box-section rim designs, Zipp engineers-uninhibited by legacy technology-took a different approach. They looked to motorsports as a model. Zipp's Moto Technology's single-wall rim is the optimal approach for an enduro/trail wheelset. The resulting rim provides something we call "ankle compliance." Imagine a runner rounding a sharp turn, the ankle naturally flexing to maintain grip as the runner leans. The 3ZERO rim can locally flex to stay parallel to the ground during cornering, increasing traction like a human ankle adjusts while running. This ability to twist locally allows it to deflect during single bead impacts without the rider getting bounced offline. 3ZERO MOTO helps you take the most direct route, saving seconds when and where they count most. At the center of the 3ZERO MOTO is the ZM2 hubset. This German-engineered hubset features 12 pawls and 132 points of engagement for a quicker response. The hub's improved seal design means better durability on rough terrain. Quarq's TireWiz is an add-on option for 3ZERO to dial in your pressure for an even more compliant ride. Zipp's Speed Line graphics give you the choice of five colors for a wheel with high-performance aesthetics. - Higher impact resistance - Reduced chance of pinch flatting - More traction in rough corners - Smoother ride in rocky terrain - Ability to run lower tire pressure - Reduced rider fatigue - Frustration-free tire installation - Rim is designed for compliance, creating the feel of extra suspension - German-engineered hubset features 12 pawls and 132 points of engagement for quicker response and also has improved durability - Lifetime Warranty

The Arch MK4 is the wheelset a lot of us here at Stan's choose to ride. All-mountain, Downcountry, Trailduro—whatever they're calling it this week, when you like pushing your limits on climbs, descents, and every kind of trail, this is your wheelset. The Arch MK4's 28mm internal width and patented lightweight, low-profile design is not afraid to climb, while being an absolute monster on the descents. With a welded seam, reinforced spoke bed, and durable 6069 aluminum construction, the Arch MK4 rims give you the confidence to ride everything. When it comes to a consistent and reliable airtight tubeless seal, nothing beats Stan's patented Bead Socket Technology. The Arch MK4 rims feature an asymmetric design with offset spoke holes to improve spoke angle and create a stronger all-around wheel. Unlike most asymmetric rims that suffer from difficult inflation and poor tubeless performance, Stan's BST-Asymmetric design delivers all the advantages of a stronger wheel, with no compromises in tubeless performance. Nobody likes downtime, so the Arch MK4 wheelset is built with traditional J-bend spokes based on their proven strength, ride quality, and easy serviceability. Stan's has always made it easy to find replacement spokes should you ever damage your wheel, and now we've made it even easier. MK4 front and rear wheels of the same diameter all use the exact same very common spoke length, both sides, front and rear. Serviceability doesn't get any easier than that. From the first click of the incredible M-pulse hubs, it's clear that confidence is the philosophy behind every part of this wheelset. Designed and CNC machined by Project321 in Bend, Oregon, M-pulse freehubs feature 6 pawls with Neodymium magnets that lock into place with greater force than conventional pawl springs, but offer virtually no resistance when coasting. Multiple teeth on each pawl offer better load distribution for years of trouble-free riding, and the angle of the pawls was engineered to transfer stress away from the rotating bearings, decreasing stress and wear on the entire freehub. That durability extends to the 17mm axles machined of 7075 aluminum and the full complement of Enduro brand bearings, including a double-row freehub bearing. M-pulse internals are also fully shielded inside the hub, because the only thing better than a good bearing seal is a good bearing seal most dirt can't even reach. As durable as they are, these hubs are also built for speed. M-pulse hubs engage with only 1.66°of rotation, putting down power nearly instantaneously, but how smooth these hubs roll is what really stands out. Adjustable preload allows you to fine tune M-pulse hubs for reduced friction, and less drag means more speed on the ground. The result is a bombproof hub with quick, consistent engagement and less resistance for more speed. Available with Shimano Micro Spline, HG, or SRAM XDR freehub, and 6-bolt or Centerlock brake style, with options to fit all popular axle configurations. Tubeless ready with rim tape installed. The Arch MK4 is our most versatile wheelset, and the best aluminum wheelset available for riders who want to push limits on every trail. Up, down, and wherever the ride takes you, the Arch MK4 wheelset has it under control. - Arch MK4 wheels include pre-installed tape for tubeless use and presta valves. - Versatile 28mm internal rim width optimized for 2.2-2.5” tires - Light and durable 6069 aluminum with welded joint and reinforced spoke bed - BST-Asymmetric design combines Stan’s legendary easy tubeless inflation with a stronger, more balanced wheel build - M-pulse ultra-low drag magnetic pawl adjustable hubs with 1.66° engagement - Enduro bearings with double-row freehub bearing - Matched wheelsets use traditional J-bend lacing and share a single spoke length for easy serviceability - Connection program includes 5-year hub warranty, 3-year rim warranty, 1-year crash replacement, and $10 donation to trail maintenance or advocacy group of your choice

IMPORTANT - Minimum tire size 30mm. Max 70PSI. This is not the wheelset to use with both 25mm road tires and also gravel tires. The Altamont Lite is perfect for that. The CCC is a gravel optimized wheelset, for when you want to have the best possible configuration for those larger tires. If you're going to ride the gravel roads, we think you should know where they came from. The CCC is a gravel-specific wheelset built to take you far off the beaten path. The new light weight, durable alloy wheelset complements Boyd’s current carbon Pinnacle 700c and Jocassee 650b offering and promises adventure at an affordable $700 price point. The CCC, a name engrained in history as the wooded roads it represents, borrows its moniker from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The CCC was a voluntary public unemployment program designed to provide jobs for young men and to help families who faced challenges finding jobs during the Great Depression. In the mountains of South Carolina there are remnants of “Old CCC” roads deep in the woods that have become favorite exploration destinations for Boyd Johnson, founder of Boyd Cycling. The 6069 series alloy rim weighs in at 415 grams in a 700c size and 395 grams in the 650b. Built with the highly rated Quest Disc Brake hubs, the complete wheelset nets a scant 1515 grams for 700c set and 1475 grams for the 650b. Spoke count options are 24f/28r and 28f/32r built using Pillar Wing 20 spokes and external brass nipples.
